Our Story:

As parents of five children, Sarah and I knew we wanted more than just a standard education for our kids. We wanted an environment that would inspire them to discover their unique gifts and pursue their passions with unyielding confidence. We wanted them to embrace the ups and downs of growing up, learning to navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience.

But we couldn't find that school in Bee Cave, Texas—so we built it.

We founded Acton Academy Bee Cave to give our children, and yours, a place where they could learn to lead their own lives. A place where they would be encouraged to take control of their own learning, make their own decisions, and chart their own courses.

In today’s world, too many young people are lost in the haze of social media addiction, anxiety, and distraction. They’re caught in the sticky tentacles of doom scrolling, FOMO, and a sense of purposelessness. But we know there’s a better way.

We believe that the antidote to these modern plagues is finding and following a calling—a purpose that gives life meaning. By setting goals, doing hard things, and overcoming challenges, your child can build self-confidence, competence, and a strong sense of who they are.

At Acton Academy Bee Cave, we give your child the tools and guidance to do just that.

Meet the Founders:

Sarah: A mother of five, adventure enthusiast, and lifelong learner. With a background in Recreation Therapy and experience across the globe, Sarah is passionate about creating magical moments for children and empowering them to thrive.

Matt: With a rich background that includes working at MIT’s CSAIL, running an Airbnb business, and studying at The Acton School of Business, Matt is a learner at heart. He’s dedicated to fostering an environment where children can grow, explore, and succeed.
