The Acton Academy Bee Cave Promise

Dear Parent Who Refuses to Let “Average” Decide Their Child’s Fate,

Somewhere between endless worksheets and Social Media doom scrolling, too many brilliant kids are going numb. At Acton Academy Bee Cave, we smash that numbness into dust.

The antidote to mind-numbing social media, anxiety, depression, apathy, escapism, and addiction is responsibility, freedom, and ownership. Children naturally want to take charge of their own life, but when they're in an environment that doesn't allow them to, they might as well disappear onto a screen and escape.

Our One-Page Promise to Your Child

Launch a Hero’s Journey –We turn “What do you want to be?” into a quest to discover and deploy real gifts.

Master Freedom & Responsibility –Economic, political, spiritual freedom only works when you shoulder weight. We train both sides.

Solve Real Problems Badges earned for business launches, community projects, and inventions—not for memorizing a chapter then forgetting it.

See Beauty & Mystery Everywhere – From art to Hill-Country ecology, Heros learn awe on purpose.

Translation: Hand us a curious kid; we send back a self-directed young leader who can’t wait to tackle the world.

Meet Our Team

Mrs. Sarah

Mrs. Sarah is a mother of five, adventurer, and guide who believes childhood should be rich with meaning, movement, joy, and discovery.

As a mother — four of her five children are boys — Sarah brings deep respect for children’s energy, curiosity, and need for purposeful challenge. She loves learning alongside her kids and believes that growth happens best through experience, relationship, and trust.

Sarah has traveled extensively with her family through Southeast Asia, Mexico, Central America, and New England, and lived abroad in Seoul, South Korea for a year and a half after university. These experiences shaped her belief that adaptability, wonder, and cultural humility are essential ingredients in raising capable, grounded children.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy and worked in a rehabilitation center, skilled nursing facility, and with at-risk youth, including an internship at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Her background gives her a deep appreciation for human development, emotional resilience, and the power of environments that support both independence and care.

Sarah was also part of the beta launch of the Acton School of Business Next Great Adventure app, where she participated in the Life of Meaning coursework — further deepening her passion for helping individuals and families live with purpose.

She believes there are specific ingredients that create magical moments — moments where children feel seen, capable, and alive — and she finds joy in designing experiences that empower children to grow into who they are meant to be.

Sarah’s Working Genius strengths are Invention and Galvanizing, and she brings creativity, enthusiasm, and momentum into every space she leads. She believes learning should be joyful, challenging, and deeply human.

Mrs. Dominique

Prior to joining Acton Academy Bee cave, Dominique was a teacher in the UK at Arrow Vale Secondary School. Here she taught Mathematics, Psychology and Statistics. During her time at Arrow Vale, Dominique was appointed as the High Priority Attainment lead, where she initiated project based learning as an opportunity for students to gain a deeper connection and enthusiasm for their studies. This approach to learning was fostered by Dominique’s understanding of the importance of promoting metacognition and responsibility in learners to allow them to embrace the joy of discovery and ownership.

Dominique has completed extensive research around the importance of a growth mindset, trailing various strategies to support this both within an education setting and beyond. This has been driven by her passion to provide equity within learning, where all students are given the support and encouragement needed to excel. Dominique’s passion for research and helping others overcome personal barriers was cultivated during her degree in Psychology at Cardiff University (UK) and nurtured throughout her Postgraduate degree in education. It is Dominique’s joy of learning which has continuously prompted her to seek further knowledge, currently completing a Masters in Business and Technology to this end.

Dominique had always loved to travel and explore, experiencing the history of other places and learning about different cultures. Her and her husband moved to Austin in January 2024 and have been enjoying the sun and scenery since. Dominique loves any kind of sports, despite not being a natural sportsman, and has a fondness for escaping into fantasy stories. Autumn is her favorite season; She enjoys all food way too much to choose the best one; She is of the opinion that fire (or water) is the greatest element; and her favorite drink in the US is the AMAZING coffee.

Dominique’s working geniuses are Wonder and Galvanising.

Enneagram 3.

Mrs. Victoria

Victoria has been a Montessori Guide for 2.5 years at Guidepost Montessori in Westlake. She has done training and certification through The Prepared Montessorian Institute (PMI). Before that, she opened her own bakery called Sacred Sweets Co. centered around vegan and gluten free sweets and worked as a chef for multiple Uchi concepts in Houston and Austin. She graduated with a degree in Health Sciences and interned as a phlebotomist at the Marine Corp Department in San Diego, California. After settling down in Austin, Victoria committed her time to serving children regularly through philanthropic work with The Junior League. She is committed to touching children's lives when they need it most; partnering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and Dell Children's Hospital. Currently, she sits on a Junior League community program, FIT. FIT's mission is to eliminate weekend hunger and promote educated nutritional choices to maximize student potential for children in our community.

As a mother of two boys, Victoria experienced a turning point when her eldest (6) became a toddler. She quickly realized that most care centers fell short of nurturing his whole well-being, offering a one-size-fits-all approach that felt impersonal and out of sync with what her son truly needed. It was at this point when she fell in love with the Montessori pedagogy and has been deep diving ever since! In the classroom, she is passionate about nurturing the whole child through presence and empowerment through learning. She is delighted to join Acton and the dynamic Spark studio!
